I’m Jo, the potter behind Min Ceramic. I throw and handbuild fun and functional ware for the kitchen. I make in small batches, inspired by the incredible process of ceramics – literally baking the ground into beautiful, durable and useful things. Embracing this, my style is earthy and elemental, experimenting with glazes and techniques to encourage unique results for each piece.

Salt pig :
A friendly fellow on hand whenever you need some seasoning. Have him beside the hob or on the dinner table, this pig brings a little joy to your day.
This salt pig is handmade using the 'pinching' method, with a bright blue glaze and comes with a sustainable bamboo spoon. Smaller than your traditional salt pigs, the ceramic keeps salt dry and prevents clumps.
Size: 8cm x 8cm
Blue cups :
Finely thrown cups for hot or cold drinks, these cups feel light in the hand. Using only two glazes there's a mix of colour and texture reminiscent of a landscape.
Also available in mustard and forest green.
Size: 12cm x 8cm
Swan Soapdish :
A soapdish with character, this swan was designed for simple use and to be easy to clean. This swan is made using slabs and hand-building techniques to ensure it looks delicate but is durable enough for daily use.
Size: 8cm x 15cm
Notes: Dishwasher-safe but better to hand-wash with soap and water
Bone China Earrings :
These small hoops are made from 14K gold-filled wire with pebble-shaped bone china pendants. Being organically shaped, they dance around on the hoops as they're worn. They're distinctive and light as a feather.
