My work is inspired by nature, the ebbs and flows of the wild world on our doorstep. All my work is reduction fired to enhance the deep vibrant colours of the glazes and bring out the rich iron within the clay body. I combine different techniques of wheel throwing and textured slabs pressed together, this creates forms which reflect the rough yet elegant wilderness.
