Emma is a wildlife jeweller, creating sculptural pieces which celebrate our local British wildlife, as well as more tropical species. Her creatures are modelled by hand in wax, using photos as her guide, and are highly detailed. Her collection ranges from Queen Bumblebee rings & Emperor Moth earrings to Praying Mantis necklaces. She works mainly in sterling silver and is based on the Kent coast.

Bladderwrack Seaweed Cuff - sterling silver :
Bladderwrack Seaweed Cuff in sterling silver. This dramatic cuff was designed in the image of the much maligned seaweed that we find all around the British shoreline. The natural flow and features of the seaweed make it the perfect subject for jewellery. It was hand modelled by Emma Keating (who adores nature's bubblewrap!).

Pipistrelle Bat Pendant on sterling silver spiga chain. Cast in sterling silver with a black ruthenium plating, it holds the UK hallmark for sterling silver. Hand modelled by Emma Keating. The pipistrelle is one of the UK's most common bats and this model depicts the moment before it takes flight.

Mermaid's Purse Pendant - Sterling Silver :
Mermaid's Purse Pendant on a sterling silver snake chain. Cast and hallmarked for sterling silver, the image shows the front and back of the pendant – with one side featuring the baby Nursehound Catshark inside the egg casing. Hand modelled by Emma Keaitng. Commonly known as the Mermaid's purse, this shark egg cam be found on beaches around the UK coastline.

Curled Octopus Ring, cast and hallmarked for sterling silver. This ring was modelled by hand by Emma Keating and is based on one of the octopuses to be found in British waters. The ring shows 4 tentacles at the front, with the other 4 tentacles making up the band of the ring at the back. Fully detailed.

Male Stage Beetle Ring - Sterling Silver :
Male Stag Beetle Ring, cast and hallmarked for sterling silver. This ring was modeled by hand by Emma Keating and is an adaptation of her popular Stag Beetle pendant. The band of the ring at the sides is made up of the beetle's legs, with the underneath being a wood-like design, reflecting the beetle's love of decomposing wood.

Emperor Moth Drop Earrings, mounted on sterling silver wires. These earrings were hand modelled by Emma Keating and cast in, and hallmarked for, sterling silver. Emperor moths are common across the UK and the males (depicted here) are distinct by their large feathery antennae.

Yellow-Tailed Scorpion Pendant - Sterling Silver :
Yellow-Tailed Scorpion Pendant, on sterling silver snake chain. Modelled in wax by hand by Emma Keating and cast in sterling silver. It holds the UK hallmark for sterling silver. This is a large model of what, in reality, is a small scorpion which has naturalised in some of the British harbours, such as Sheerness in Kent. They also glow under UV light!

Mounted on a robust sterling silver cable chain, this bracelet shows all currently available charms – from the beautiful Moon Moth and bees, to the misunderstood earwig or the even less popular garden slug. Each charm has been modelled by hand by Emma Keating from wax.
