Inspired by watching traditional Timorese silversmiths making jewellery, Risza Jewellery encompasses techniques learnt from different teachers from around the world. Her work is mostly influenced by Timorese ceremonial and traditional objects all of which have stories and meaning behind each of them.

Belak necklace :
Belak* medallion in 9ct recycled gold. </p>
<p>Belak is a Timorese bravery medallion. Warriors returning from war were awarded Belak to honour their bravery and courage.

Studded ring :
Studded rings in gold and silver. These rings were inspired by a rosary ring my grandma gave me when I was a little girl. These rings are very tactile, they go well as a calming ring.

Mamuli studs :
Mamuli* stud earrings. </p>
<p>Mamuli is a symbol of fertility in the Eastern part of Indonesia and East Timor. They are still currently used as part of dowry in the region.

Kaibauk studs :
These statement earrings are inspired by the poles on the Kaibauk*.<br />
*Kaibauk is Timorese traditional headdress. It is a symbol of leadership.

This silver ring is adorned with five Lapis Lazuli for a splash of colour.

Mortein bracelets :
Mortein beads / the orange beads are traditional Timorese dowry beads. In the olden days, one bead equals one buffalo.</p>
<p>These bracelets are adjustable silver bracelets, combining the traditional beads with (modern) 'smart' silver beads for functionality and comfort.
